Local Eating Disorder Resource Center Extends A Sincere Thank You For Generous Donations.

A Place Of Healing is an eating disorder resource center that services the entire Northeast Tennessee region and is located here in Johnson City, TN.

We are happy to announce nearly $1500 was raised from our second annual fundraiser “Storytelling & Silent Auction” recently held in February.

This generosity and support will allow our efforts to develop and grow.  Already we have been able to register the organization and receive a certified 501(c)3 status allowing us to further enhance our efforts and effectiveness.

Funds raised will also be used to provide more resources and books in our lending library. Plus enhance our efforts to make additional community connections and continue to expand awareness that we are here in the Tri-Cities area to serve residents in Northeast Tennessee. Our staff is composed strictly of volunteers allowing 100% of donations collected to support our efforts in making healing and hope a possibility, for those suffering with eating disorders in the region.

As a small organization we appreciate the importance of collaboration, the value of support and the strength of community. Thank you for supporting A Place of Healings’ mission and vision.
