Through a personal struggle of finding treatment for an eating disorder and then needing to find support for my recovery, it was my goal to establish a safe place for other women and men to have the support they need in finding help for this disease.
A Place of Healing opened to the general public on January 1, 2014.
We are a place of connections.
We can connect you with free literature on understanding eating disorders, and the behaviors that surround this silent and sometimes fatal disease. We can also connect you to local professionals or treatment centers in the area that can help be a part of your team to recovery and living a life of happiness and balance. We are here to support you and hope to grow our services in the future!
The resource center is currently open every Tuesday 3pm-5pm or e-mail for more information.
Please visit our donation page to help support our mission to always keep our services free to those that need help.
Enjoy Food. Enjoy Life.
